Home Program
Home programs are crucial to helping children achieve their therapy goals. Since most children attend therapy only one to two times per week, it is imperative that they complete activities at home to further facilitate their development across settings.
Therefore, a therapist may provide “homework” for the child and family to carry out at home. This “homework” can include various exercises to assist in strengthening the child’s muscles, techniques to help the child’s arousal and attention level, activities to support fine motor skills, or games that enhance other specific skills.
