It is importance to start teaching a handicapped child to eat independently as early as possible. if your child is still on a liquid diet, gradually start giving a solid food such as rice, vegetables or bread. See more about
Food
By the age of 4 or 5 months children have semi - solid food like mashed potato, banana et al.
10 or 12 months children should start eating solid food like rice, vegetables and fruits.
If your child is older but still on a liquid diet, start by giving him semi - solids food with spoon. Once the child get used to semi- solid food, gradually start giving a solid food. See more about
