ASDs (Autism Spectrum Disorders) are characterised, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, hypersensitivities, attention, motor coordination and repetitive behaviors.
Autism Spectrum Disorder and iLs
Autism is now diagnosed at a younger age than ever before
since characteristics of autism have become more defined and
bettter recognised in recent years. Receiveing a diagnosis at an
early age is optimal because the sooner the disorder is recognised,
the more likely the child can make dramatic reductions in
symptoms and gains in learning.
Autism Treatment Approaches at Advanta
Treatment for autism does not heavily rely on
medical intervention and sergical interventions are not
practiced for this disorder.
Intensive early intervention is most effective in
reducing brhavior problems while increasing
language, social, sensory, motor, and cognitive skills.
At Mums and Kids Club a variety of approaches are available, because no two children with autism
present with the same set of symptoms, no one treatmeant plan is successful for all children with
autism. We think that effective intervention must account for the child's indivisual strength and
challenges, and must consider functional skills to be generalized accross a variety of settings in the
child's life so we provide children with autism to learn and improve themselves via the activities while
emphasized on :
